The Formation
Since 1995, FuE-Zentrum FH Kiel GmbH has been assisting its customers with scientific-technological consulting and solutions expertise. Since then, we have initiated and completed over 1,500 projects for private and public clients.
There are an employee average of 100, of which seven are in the administrative area. Three quarters of the more than 180 customers come from Schleswig-Holstein. The rest are spread across the entire Federal Republic. In recent years, the company has also been able to win an increasing number of international customers. The company is not profit-oriented; minor profits remain in the company after tax deduction and are not distributed.
The Evolution
FuE-Zentrum FH Kiel GmbH is an autonomous, independent service company and carries out projects in the technical service sector in partnership with its customers. The object of the company is the operation of a research and development center for the promotion of technologies and innovations as well as technology transfer and personnel qualification for the fields of engineering, construction, business, agriculture and social services. Excellent research results, scientific know-how and state-of-the-art technical facilities are used to provide customers with an economic advantage on the market within the framework of clearly defined projects.
Tasks
The FuE-Zentrum is responsible for the overall project management. We have gained extensive experience in this general work package from many other publicly funded projects. Since its foundation, the center has been administratively responsible for many projects funded by the EU (ESF, URBAN, INTERREG, ADAPT, Regionalprogramm 2000, Zukunftsprogramm Wirtschaft, Landesprogramm Wirtschaft, etc.). In addition, several projects with federal funding (BMBF, BMUB, BMWi, BMEL, etc.) were carried out with administration responsibility.
